APPG on Downstream Energy and Fuels

The All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Downstream Energy and Fuels encourages engagement between Parliament and the downstream industry.

Statement of Purpose

The APPG will focus on downstream energy and fuel to explore the continued importance of the sector in today's society and highlight the role the sector can play in clean growth and meeting the Net-Zero emissions goals. It will highlight possible technology improvements, discuss policy frameworks, and look at opportunities for the UK to continue to benefit from a resilient downstream oil sector that is able to continue to meet the needs of modern society.

The first meeting was held on Wednesday, 16 June 2021 and due to COVID-19 restrictions was held via a teleconference.
