As with the introduction of ultra-low sulphur fuels, the UK will again be amongst the leaders in the EU on the introduction of cleaner fuels as UKPIA members start to prepare for the introduction of virtually sulphur-free petrol and diesel during 2003. The EU looks set to mandate their introduction for 2005.
