As part of our commitment to process safety, UKPIA has developed an effective process for sharing of, and learning lessons from, relevant high potential process safety incidents.
Understanding that many lessons learned from other high hazard sectors may be relevant to refining and terminal operations, the Process Safety Forum* utilises the process developed by UKPIA, and publishes Process Safety Alerts that may be relevant to its represented industry sectors.
*The Process Safety Forum consists of representatives from UKPIA, Tank Storage Association, Oil and Gas UK, Chemical Industries Association and the Nuclear Industry Association.
